These sections were also made available simultaneously<br \/>\nin fascicles Canto-wise. The fascicles covered the first four Cantos of Book 1<br \/>\nand Book 3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;text-align: justify;text-indent: 10.0pt;line-height:150%\">\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">The fifteen Cantos of Book 2 were published in book-form in<br \/>\ntwo parts, Cantos 1-6 and Cantos 7-15, in 1947 and 1948 respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;text-align: justify;text-indent: 10.0pt;line-height:150%\">\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">savitri, <\/span><br \/>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">Part I, comprising three Books, extensively revised and<br \/>\nenlarged, was issued in a single volume in 1950. Part II, comprising Books 4 to<br \/>\n8, and Part III, comprising Books 9 to 12, were published as a second volume in<br \/>\n1951, thus completing the whole epic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;text-align: justify;text-indent: 10.0pt;line-height:150%\">\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">A single-volume edition, including Sri Aurobindo&#8217;s letters on<br \/>\nthe poem, was published in 1954, under the imprint of the Sri Aurobindo<br \/>\nInternational University Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0;text-align: justify;text-indent: 10.0pt;line-height:150%\">\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">The present edition, in two volumes, as a part of the<br \/>\n<span>sri aurobindo birth centenary library,<br \/>\n<\/span>is the third complete edition.
