O thou golden image,<\/p>\n

     Miniature of bliss,<\/p>\n

Speaking sweetly, speaking meetly!<\/p>\n

     Every word deserves a
\nkiss.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Strange, remote and splendid<\/p>\n

     Childhood\u2019s fancy
\npure<\/p>\n

Thrills to thoughts we cannot fathom,<\/p>\n

     Quick felicities
\nobscure.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When the eyes grow solemn<\/p>\n

      Laughter fades away,<\/p>\n

Nature of her mighty childhood<\/p>\n

      Recollects the Titan
\nplay;<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Woodlands touched by sunlight<\/p>\n

      Where the elves abode,<\/p>\n

Giant meetings, Titan greetings,<\/p>\n

       Fancies of a youthful
\nGod.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

These
\nare coming on thee<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

       In thy secret thought;<\/p>\n

God remembers in thy bosom<\/p>\n

      All the wonders that He
\nwrought.<\/p>\n

 
\n  <\/p>\n

\n
\n     Miracles<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/b><\/p>\n

Snow in June may break from
\nNature,<\/p>\n

       Ice through August
\nlast,<\/p>\n

The random rose may increase stature<\/p>\n

       In December\u2019s blast;<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But this at least can never be,<\/p>\n

O thou mortal ecstasy,<\/p>\n

That one should live, even in pain,<\/p>\n

Visited by thy disdain.<\/p>\n
