Compelling
\nmortals as thou leanst sublime<\/p>\n

\nheaven\u2019s lucent walls, to sway the world.<\/p>\n

Is
\nthy felicity of lesser date,<\/p>\n

Prince
\nof the patient and untiring gods,<\/p>\n

\ngods who work? Dost thou not ever feel<\/p>\n

Angelic
\nweariness usurp the place<\/p>\n

\nthe great flame and the august desire<\/p>\n

\nand more giant passion comes<\/p>\n

Striding
\nupon me. I behold the world<\/p>\n

Immeasurably
\nvast, I see the heavens

Pushing
\nsome ancient weaker sovereign down<\/p>\n

\nsway immemorable? Did He come<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

By
\npeaceful ways, permission or inheritance,<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

To
\nwhat He is today? Or if indeed<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

He
\nis for ever and for ever rules,<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Are
\nthere no bounds to His immense domain,<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

No
\nobscure corner of unbounded space<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Forgotten
\nby His fate, that I may seize<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

And
\nmake myself an empire as august,<\/p>\n

Enjoy
\na like eternity of rule?<\/p>\n
