\n<\/span>The sweet Love lies,<\/p>\n

\nHas he wings to rise to his heavens or in the c1oses<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

           
\n<\/span>Lives and dies?<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n


\nOn the peaks of the radiant mountains if we should meet him <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

           
\n<\/span>Proud and free,<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWill he not frown on the valleys? Would it befit him<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

           
\n<\/span>Chained to be?<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWill you <\/i>then speak of the one as a slave and a wanton,<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

           
\n<\/span>The other too bare?<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n


\nBut God is the only slave and the only monarch<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

           
\n<\/span>We declare.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIt is God who is Love and a boy and a slave for our passion<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

           
\n<\/span>He was made to serve;<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIt is God who is free and proud and the limitless tyrant<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

           
\n<\/span>
\nOur souls deserve.
