I <\/font><\/b>am the bird of God in His blue; <\/span><\/p>\n

                       
\nDivinely high and clear
\n            I sing the
\nnotes of the sweet and the true<\/p>\n

For the god\u2019s and the seraph\u2019s ear.<\/p>\n

I rise like a fire from the mortal\u2019s earth <\/span><\/p>\n

Into a griefless sky
\nAnd drop in the suffering soil of his birth <\/span><\/p>\n

Fire-seeds of ecstasy.<\/p>\n

My pinions soar beyond Time and Space <\/span><\/p>\n

Into unfading Light; <\/span><\/p>\n

I bring the bliss of the Eternal\u2019s<\/span> face,<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

And the
\nboon of the Spirit\u2019s sight.<\/p>\n

I measure the worlds with my ruby eyes;
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

I have perched on Wisdom\u2019s tree
\nThronged with the blossoms of Paradise <\/span><\/p>\n

By the streams of Eternity.<\/p>\n

Nothing is hid from my burning heart; <\/span><\/p>\n

My mind is shoreless<\/span>
\nand still; <\/span><\/p>\n

My song is rapture\u2019s mystic art, <\/span><\/p>\n

                       
\nMy flight immortal will.<\/p>\n
