&#8220;Prayers&#8221;,&nbsp; <\/i><br \/>\n(<i><b><font size=\"2\">Prayers and<\/font><\/b> <b><br \/>\n<font size=\"2\">Meditations of the<br \/>\nMother<\/font><\/b>,&nbsp;  <\/i><font size=\"2\">See Part Three<\/font><i><font size=\"2\">.<\/font><\/i>)<i>&nbsp;&nbsp; they say, explain this view.&nbsp; But, to my mental<br \/>\nconception, to my psychic feeling she is the Divine Mother who has consented to<br \/>\nput on her the cloak of obscurity and suffering and ignorance so that she can<br \/>\neffectively lead us &#8213; human beings &#8213; to Knowledge and Bliss and Ananda and to<br \/>\nthe Supreme Lord.<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>A:<\/b>&nbsp; The Divine puts on an appearance of humanity, assumes the<br \/>\noutward human nature in order to tread the path and show it to human beings, but<br \/>\ndoes not cease to be the Divine.&nbsp; It is a manifestation that takes place, a<br \/>\nmanifestation of a growing divine consciousness, not human turning into divine.&nbsp; The Mother was inwardly above the human even in<br \/>\nchildhood, so the view held by&nbsp;<br \/>\n&#8220;many&#8221;&nbsp; is erroneous.<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><i><b>Q:&nbsp; <\/b>I also conceive that the Mother&#8217;s&nbsp; &#8220;Prayers&#8221;&nbsp; are meant to show<br \/>\nus &#8213; the aspiring psychic &#8213; how to pray to the Divine.<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>A:<\/b>&nbsp; MOTHER&#8217;S&nbsp; MANIFESTATION&nbsp; AND&nbsp; THE&nbsp;&nbsp; SUPRAMENTAL&nbsp; DESCENT<\/b><\/P><br \/>\n\t\t<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><i><b>Q:<\/b>&nbsp; Is there any difference between the Mother&#8217;s manifestation<br \/>\nand the descent of the Supramental ?<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>A:<\/b>&nbsp; she can even supramentalise<br \/>\nthe world in a day;&nbsp; but in that case the supramental Nature created here would<br \/>\nbe the same as it is above, and not the earth in Ignorance evolving into the<br \/>\nsupramental earth, a manifestation which will not be in appearance quite the<br \/>\nsame as what the Supermind is.<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>A:<\/b>&nbsp; That is a very important truth.&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">17-6-1935<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>PURPOSE&nbsp; OF&nbsp; THE&nbsp; MOTHER&#8217;S&nbsp; EMBODIMENT<\/b><\/P><br \/>\n\t\t<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><i><b>Q:<\/b>&nbsp; Am I right in thinking that she as an individual embodies all<br \/>\nthe Divine Powers and brings down the Grace more and more to the physical plane,<br \/>\nand her embodiment is a chance for the entire physical consciousness to change<br \/>\nand be transformed ?<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>A:<\/b>&nbsp; Yes.&nbsp; Her embodiment is a chance for the earth-consciousness<br \/>\nto receive the Supramental into it and to undergo first the transformation<br \/>\nnecessary for that to be possible.&nbsp; Afterwards there will be a further<br \/>\ntransformation by the Supramental, but the whole earth-consciousness will not be<br \/>\nsupramentalised &#8213; there will be first a new race representing the Supermind, as<br \/>\nman represents the mind.<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">13-8-1933<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><br \/>\n<font size=\"5\">*<\/font><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">There is one divine Force which acts in the universe and in the<br \/>\nindividual and is also beyond the individual and the universe.&nbsp; The Mother stands<br \/>\nfor all these, but she is working here in the body to bring down something not<br \/>\nyet expressed in this material world so as to transform life here &#8213; it is so<br \/>\nthat you should regard her as the Divine Shakti working here for that<br \/>\npurpose.<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">Page &#8211; 49<\/P><br \/>\n<HR><\/p>\n<p><P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">She is that in the body, but in her whole consciousness she is<br \/>\nalso identified with all the other aspects of the Divine.&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n\t\t<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><br \/>\n<font size=\"5\">*<\/font><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">There are not many Mothers, there is One in many forms.&nbsp; The<br \/>\ntranscendental is only one aspect of the Mother.&nbsp; I don&#8217;t know what is meant by<br \/>\nthe embodied aspect of the transcendental Mother.&nbsp; There is the embodied aspect<br \/>\nof the One Mother &#8213; what she manifests through it depends on<br \/>\nherself.&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">7-7-1936<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><br \/>\n<font size=\"5\">*<\/font><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><i><b>Q:<\/b>&nbsp; Why does the Mother in her universal action act according to<br \/>\nthe law of things, but in her embodied physical by constant Grace ?<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>A: <\/b>&nbsp;It is the work of the Cosmic Power to maintain the cosmos and<br \/>\nthe law of the Cosmos.&nbsp; The greater transformation comes from the Transcendent<br \/>\nabove the universal, and it is that transcendent Grace which the embodiment of<br \/>\nthe Mother is there to bring into action.<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">13-8-1933<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><i><b>Q:<\/b>&nbsp; What would you say about the utility of the physical approach<br \/>\nto the Mother ?<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>A:<\/b>&nbsp; There is the utility of the physical approach to the Mother<br \/>\n&#8213; the approach of the embodied mind and vital to her embodied Power.&nbsp; In her<br \/>\nuniversal action the Mother acts according to the law of things &#8213; in her embodied physical action is the opportunity of a constant<br \/>\nGrace &#8213; it is for that<br \/>\nthat the embodiment takes place.&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">12-8-1933<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">Page &#8211; 50<\/P><br \/>\n<HR><\/p>\n<p><P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>DIFFERENT&nbsp; APPEARANCES&nbsp; OF&nbsp; THE&nbsp;<br \/>\nMOTHER<\/b><\/P><br \/>\n\t\t<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">The Mother has many different personalities and her appearance<br \/>\nvaries according as one or another predominates.&nbsp; The something common, of<br \/>\ncourse, exists.&nbsp; There is first, the one whom all these personalities manifest<br \/>\nbut that cannot be expressed in name or word &#8213;&nbsp; there is also the<br \/>\nsupramental personality which from behind the veil presides over the aim of the<br \/>\npresent manifestation.<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">9-11-1933<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><br \/>\n<font size=\"5\">*<\/font><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">The Mother has not only one appearance, but many at different<br \/>\ntimes.<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">Behind the physical body there are many forms and powers and<br \/>\npersonalities of the Mother<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">14-5-1933<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><br \/>\n<font size=\"5\">*<\/font><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><i><b>Q:<\/b>&nbsp; Two days back I saw in a vision that the fire of aspiration<br \/>\nwas rising from my heart and going upward with the constant remembrance of the<br \/>\nMother.&nbsp; Then I saw that the Mother, as we see her in her physical body, was<br \/>\ndescending in the fire and filling all my parts with peace and strength.&nbsp; What<br \/>\ndoes this vision indicate ?&nbsp; Why did I see the Mother exactly as we see her in her<br \/>\nphysical body and not in her divine form&nbsp; ?<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>A:<\/b>&nbsp; It indicates an aspiration and an action for realisation in<br \/>\nthe external nature and not only in the inner being.&nbsp; When it is an inner action<br \/>\nor an action of another plane one can see the Mother in any of her forms, but<br \/>\nfor realisation in the physical her appropriate form is that which she wears<br \/>\nhere.&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">15-7-1933<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><br \/>\n<font size=\"5\">*<\/font><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">Page &#8211; 51<\/P><br \/>\n<HR><\/p>\n<p><P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><i><span lang=\"en-gb\"><b>Q:<\/b><\/span>&nbsp; Why does the Mother appear different at different times, as<br \/>\nat Pranam or Prosperity or while giving the interview ?&nbsp; Sometimes even anatomical<br \/>\ndifferences are visible.&nbsp; What is the reason of these differences in her<br \/>\nappearance ?&nbsp; Does it depend on the extent to which she turns outwards ?<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>A:<\/b>&nbsp; It is rather, I think, dependent on the personality that<br \/>\nmanifests in front &#8213; as she has many personalities and the body is plastic<br \/>\nenough to express something of each when it comes forward.&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">4-12-1933&nbsp;<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><br \/>\n<font size=\"5\">*<\/font><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><i><b>Q:<\/b>&nbsp; Often when I see the Mother I feel as if she is the image of<br \/>\ndivine Ananda and her form looks like that of a young girl.&nbsp; Is there any truth<br \/>\nin my feeling ?<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>A:<\/b>&nbsp; Ananda is not the only thing &#8213; there is Knowledge and Power<br \/>\nand Love and many other powers of the Divine.&nbsp; As a special experience only it<br \/>\nmay stand.&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">30-4-1933<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><br \/>\n<font size=\"5\">*<\/font><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">Yes. Many see like that, as if the Mother were taller than her<br \/>\nordinary physical appearance.&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"right\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><font size=\"2\">29-9-1933<\/font><\/b><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b>REVELATION&nbsp; <\/b>When Ramakrishna was doing Sadhana, Mother was on earth<br \/>\nphysically for the first eight years of her childhood, from 1878 to 1886.&nbsp; Did he<br \/>\nknow that Mother had come down ?&nbsp; He must have had some vision at least of her<br \/>\ncoming, but we do not read anywhere definitely about it.<\/i><\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"justify\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P align=\"center\" style=\"line-height: 150%;margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">Page &#8211;
