\nPonder it, captain. Sungram, see the bearers
\nReleased, but let those cowards first be scourged
\nWho put their lives above their lady’s honour.
\nGive golden largess to the faithful four
\nAnd send them with a script. Let Edur know
\nThat Bappa holds his cherished daughter fast
\nAnd frees her not save for a lakh of mohurs,
\nHer insufficient ransom. If it displease him,
\nLet him come here with all his fighting men
\nAnd take her from my grip. Word it to wound him
\nSo that he shall come thundering up the hills
\nIncensed inexorably.<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n
