\nAppeal<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\nThy youth is but a noon, of night take heed, \u2014<\/span><\/p>\n

\nA noon that is a fragment of a day,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnd the swift eve all sweet things bears away,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAll sweet things and all bitter, rose and weed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nFor others’ bliss who lives, he lives indeed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nBut thou art pitiful and ruth shouldst know.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI bid thee trifle not with fatal love,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nBut save our pride and dear one, O my dove,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnd heaven and earth and the nether world below<\/span><\/p>\n

\nShall only with thy praises peopled grow.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nLife is a bliss that cannot long abide,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nBut while thou livest, love. For love the sky<\/span><\/p>\n

\nWas founded, earth upheaved from the deep cry<\/span><\/p>\n

\nOf waters, and by love is sweetly tied<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe golden cordage of our youth and pride.<\/span><\/p>\n
