\nAgleam with strange and viewless light!<\/span><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nA spark from thy vision’s scintillations<\/span><\/p>\n

\nHas kindled the earth to passionate dreams,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnd the gloom of ages sinks defeated<\/span><\/p>\n

\nBy the revel and splendour of thy beams.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nIn this little courtyard Earth thy rivers<\/span><\/p>\n

\nHave made to bloom heaven’s many-rayed flowers,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnd, throned on thy lion meditation,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThou slayest with a sign the Titan powers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nThou art rapt in unsleeping adoration<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnd a thousand thorn-wounds are forgot;<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThy hunger is for the unseizable,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnd for thee the near and sure are not.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nThy mind is affianced to lonely seeking,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnd it puts by the joy these poor worlds hoard,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnd to house a cry of infinite dreaming<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThy lips repeat the formless Word.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nO beautiful, blest, immaculate,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nMy heart falls down at thy feet of sheen,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nO Huntress of the Impossible,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nO Priestess of the light unseen!<\/span><\/p>\n
