\nCome with the voice of Thy hurtling sea.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nOpen life’s floodgates with Thy Fire:<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe soul, clay’s hostage, cries for Thee.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nBeloved, I know Thy summit-psalm \u2014<\/span><\/p>\n

\nA fecund pledge of Deep to Deep:<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI know that Thy Beauty’s beckoning calm<\/span><\/p>\n

\nMakes courage, answering, overleap<\/span><\/p>\n

\nDespond’s abysmal gulf below,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnd stamp on its brow Thy golden glow,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nEarth’s eyeless caverns overflow<\/span><\/p>\n

\nWith Thy liberating gleam: we reap<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe harvest of Thy summit-psalm \u2014<\/span><\/p>\n

\nIts fecund pledge of Deep to Deep.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe coward clouds which woo the Night.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nFlower-grace Incarnate! help me weave<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThy amaranthine dream’s delight.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nMake listless life-blood feel Thy call,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nTingle to dare, defy the fall.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe earth-plane’s cherished joys now pall,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI long to climb Thy dangerous height:<\/span><\/p>\n

\nUnsheathe Thy dazzling sun-sword \u2014 cleave<\/span><\/p>\n

\nIn a flash Thy blinding loveliness<\/span><\/p>\n

\nWith Thy Promise of Peak descends to bless,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThy morning’s legions slay Night’s distress,<\/span><\/p>\n

\nIn Thy diamond-sheen life’s glory is found:<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI am vowed to Thy zenith of flawless light \u2014<\/span><\/p>\n
