\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n1. He is seen, the great path-finder in
\nwhom they have founded the laws of our action; to the Fire well-born, increaser
\nof the
\nAryan, go our words.<\/font> <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n2. Fire lit by the Servant of Heaven
\ntravels in his might towards the gods along our mother earth and on heaven’s
\npeak he takes his stand.<\/font> <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n3. Fire because of whom men doing the
\nworks that have to be done, grow luminous, him conqueror of the thousands as if
\nin the winning of the purities they serve by the self,\u00b9 by their thoughts.<\/font>\n<\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n4. He whom thou willst to lead to the
\nRiches, the mortal who gives to thee, O shining One, he holds in himself, O
\nFire, the hero, who utters the word, who increases the thousands.<\/font> <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n5. He rends open the plenitude even in the
\nstrong place by the<\/font>  <\/p>\n

\n    war-horse, he founds an
\nimperishable inspired knowledge;<\/font> 
\nO thou of the many riches, in thee we ever
\nhold in the god-heads all beautiful things.<\/font> <\/p>\n

\n6. He who gives to us all treasures, men’s
\nrapturous Priest of the call, to him our lauds go forth as if supreme vessels of
\nthe honey-wine.<\/font> <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n7. The lavish givers, the seekers of the
\ngodhead, make him bright by their words as if currying a chariot-horse. O
\npowerful for action, O lord of peoples, in the son of our begettings thou
\nearnest achievement of the possessors of riches beyond both the firmaments.<\/font>\n<\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n8. Chant to the most bounteous, the
\npossessor of the Truth, the brilliant in light, coming with the laud, to the
\nFire.<\/font> <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n9. High-kindled, fed with the offering
\nfull of light, the lord of riches conquers a heroic glory; often may his new
\nright-thinking come towards us with the plenitudes,\u2014<\/font> <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n10. O thou who pressest the wine, laud the
\nFire, the guest most beloved of the beloved, the controller of the chariots, \u2014<\/font>\n<\/p>\n

\n11. the master of sacrifice who turns
\ntowards us the hidden treasures now risen and known, he in whose downward
\ndescent is a rush as of waves hard to cross, when he conquers by the thought the
\nplenitudes.<\/font> <\/p>\n

\n12. May not Fire, the guest, the shining
\nOne widely proclaimed, be wroth with us; this is he who is the perfect Priest of
\nthe call perfect in the pilgrim-rite.<\/font> <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n13. May they not come to harm by any of
\ntheir movements who approach thee with invocation, O Fire, O shining One;<\/font> 
\nfor the singer of the hymn<\/font>\u00b9<\/font>
\nwho has given the offering and does well the pilgrim-rite demands of thee the
\noffice of the messenger.<\/font> <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n14. Come, O Fire, with the Rudras, comrade
\nof the life-gods, for the drinking of the Soma-wine, to the laud of Sobhari and
\ntake thy rapture in the godhead of the Sun-world.<\/font> <\/p>\n
