\n <\/p>\n

\nDuring the meditation, just as one can see different
\nscenes, one can also see writings. We call these writings
\n"inscriptions or sky-writings". They can be seen with eyes
\nclosed or open. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\n*<\/font><\/p>\n

\n*   *<\/font><\/p>\n

\nThese are symbols\u2014a white flower is a symbol of consciousness, the sun  represents Knowledge or Truth, the moon stands for the
\nspiritual light, the star indicates creation, fire symbolises tapasya. askesis or aspiration. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nGolden rose = love and surrender full of the true
\nconsciousness. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nWhite lotus = the Mother’s Consciousness (Divine
\nConsciousness). <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe cow is a symbol of consciousness and light. A white
\ncow means the higher pure consciousness. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe child is your psychic being who is bringing out the true
\nthings from within you\u2014the road is that of the Higher Mind
\ngoing up towards the Truth. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThere are five fires in the Vedic sacrifice. If the five are
\nnot there, the sacrifice is incomplete. We may say that we
\nneed these five fires in the psychic, the mental, the vital, the <\/font><\/p>\n

\nphysical and the subconscient. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe tree is the spiritual life within. Golden peacocks,
\nsitting on every part of it, are symbols of victory of the Truth.
\nThe moon is the light of the spiritual force. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n*   *<\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe lotus situated above the head is the centre of the
\nHigher Consciousness. Probably this lotus wants to bloom.
\nThe spirituality that began to shine in the vital was the half
\nmoon. There had been an eclipse of the moon. The green
\ncolour means the true vital force. The sunrise here is the
\nmanifestation of the true consciousness in the vital plane. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe moon == spiritual light. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe elephant = strength. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe golden elephant = strength of the true consciousness. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nGreen is the colour of the light of, emotions. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n*    * <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe sun has many forms and light many colours. The sun
\ncan equally be red, golden, blue or green, etc.
\nBlue == higher Mind.
\nSunlight = Light of Divine Truth.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nBright red = Divine Love or Force of the Higher Consciousness. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nThe upward movement of the vital being is towards the
\nDivine and the Truth. The power of Truth (golden light) and
\nof the Higher Mind (blue light) has manifested and is coming
\ndown and moving in that ascending vital consciousness. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n<\/font><\/p>\n

\n*    * <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe blue light is mine, the white light is the Mother’s.
\nWhen the Higher Consciousness with its universality first
\nbegins to descend into the being, it is very natural to see blue
\nlight. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n*     *<\/font><\/p>\n

\nThis is the Higher Consciousness above the mind from
\nwhere peace, light, force, etc. come\u2014the white lotus is the
\nMother’s Consciousness, the red lotus is my conscious-
\nness\u2014knowledge and light of the Truth are always there. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n*    * <\/font><\/p>\n

\nBlue is the colour of the higher mind. Blue lotus; it is the
\nopening of that higher mind in your consciousness. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nWhite light is the light of the divine consciousness.<\/i> Blue
\nlight is the light of the higher consciousness.<\/i> The silver light is
\nthe light of spirituality. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe snake is a symbol of energy.<\/i> A higher energy stands
\non the higher consciousness<\/i> above the head. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nWater is the symbol of consciousness. What rises up is
\ndesire or the askesis of consciousness.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nIt is my light if it is whitish blue.<\/i> If pure blue, it is the light
\nof the higher knowledge. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n   The significance of the colour of an orange is to have union
\nwith the Divine and to have the touch of a higher conscious-
\nness, <\/font><\/p>\n

\nMuladhar is the inner centre of the physical. The pond is
\nthe opening<\/i> or formation of consciousness. The red lotus is
\nthe symbol of Sri Aurobindo’s presence in that consciousness <\/font><\/p>\n

\nand the rosy light signifies the descending love in the inner
\nphysical.<\/i> <\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe snake is an energy of nature. Muladhar (physical
\ncentre)<\/i> is one of its main seats. It remains asleep there in a
\ncoiled state. When awakened by sadhana, it unites itself with
\nthe higher truth. With the descent of the Mother’s Force it
\nhas become golden, that is to say, filled with divine Truth. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n*  *<\/font><\/p>\n

\nAll these experiences are the symbols of earthly outer <\/font><\/p>\n

\nnature. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nRed lotus = The Divine Harmony. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nBlue light = The higher consciousness. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nGolden Temple = The temple of the Divine Truth. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nRemain calm and quiet, then all these will slowly develop <\/font><\/p>\n

\nin your outer nature and life as well.<\/font><\/p>\n

\nThe white rose signifies loving surrender to the Mother. Its
\nresult will be the spread of light and truth in your ādhara.
\n<\/i>The white lotus means the Mother’s fully awakened Consciousness on your mental plane. The red-gold<\/i> is the radiance of the Supramental in the physical.<\/i> <\/font><\/p>\n
