\nA WORD OF GRATITUDE <\/font><\/p>\n

<\/b><\/p>\n

\nThe former Managing Trustee of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, the late Shri Dyuman
\n‘The Luminous One’, a perfect worker, a great dreamer was very keen and enthusiastic about celebrating the centenary of Sri Aurobindo’s return to India on February 6, 1993. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nIn the words of Amal Kiran, "Absolute obedience, no less than utter love and whole-hearted service, was a marked characteristic of the unpretentious dedicated soul who left his slender yet lithe physical sheath to join his Adored Ones on August 19, 1992." <\/font><\/p>\n

\nOn January 7, 1950 Shri Dyuman wrote in his diary: <\/font><\/p>\n

\n"Oh how nice it would be if I get myself completely and totally identified with the Ashram. It will be a blessing indeed. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n"May the day come and come soon, O Mother, when I no longer exist, when I have nothing of my own. All will be of the Ashram, I of the Ashram. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n"Hasten the day, O dear Mother." <\/font><\/p>\n

\nShri Dyuman was the inspirer of this book. We express our deep gratitude to him for entrusting its compilation to us.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHe whom we saw yesterday is on earth;<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\this presence is enough to prove<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tthat a day will come<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\twhen darkness shall be transformed into light,<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tand Thy reign shall be indeed<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\testablished upon earth.<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n
