His main work<br \/>\nin this field is embodied in &quot;The<br \/>\nFuture Poetry&quot; but it lies embedded in<br \/>\nthe long defunct volumes of &quot;Arya&quot;, a<br \/>\nphilosophical Journal which he conducted about a quarter Century ago. The<br \/>\nletters on  poetry and literature<br \/>\nincluded in the present volume were<br \/>\nwritten by him to a few of his poet-disciples in answer to their questions<br \/>\nand though not intended to give any<br \/>\nsystematic or exhaustive treatment of<br \/>\nthe subject, they are yet valuable, in as<br \/>\nmuch as they contain his illuminating<br \/>\nopinions on the main issues relating to<br \/>\nthe creation and appreciation of poetry<br \/>\nand literature.
