Today is the first day of Sri Aurobindo’s
\ncentenary year. Though he has left his body he is still with us, alive and
\nactive. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Aurobindo belongs to the future; he is
\nthe messenger of the future. He still shows us the way to follow in order to
\nhasten the realisation of a glorious future fashioned by the Divine Will. <\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>All those who want to collaborate for the progress of humanity and for
\nIndia’s luminous destiny must unite in a clairvoyant aspiration and in an
\nillumined work.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAurobindo, but specially for his centenary we shall choose the blue lotus,
\nwhich is the colour of his physical aura, to symbolise the centenary of the

 <\/span><\/i>Sri Aurobindo does not belong to a country
\nbut to the whole earth. His teaching leads us towards a better future.<\/span><\/p>\n

 When Sri Aurobindo left his body he said
\nthat he would not abandon us. And, in truth, during these twenty-one years, he
\nhas always been with us, guiding and helping all those who are receptive and
\nopen to his influence. <\/span><\/p>\n

In this year of his centenary, his help
\nwill be stronger still. It is up to us to be more open and to know how to take
\nadvantage of it. The future is for those who have the soul of a hero. The
\nstronger and more sincere our faith, the more powerful and effective will be
\nthe help received.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Aurobindo came upon earth to announce
\nthe manifestation of the supramental world and not merely did he announce this
\nmanifestation but embodied also in part the supramental force and showed by
\nexample what one must do to prepare oneself for manifesting it. The best thing
\nwe can do is to study all that he has told us and endeavour to follow his
\nexample and prepare ourselves for the new manifestation.<\/span><\/p>\n

This gives life its real sense and will
\nhelp us to overcome all obstacles. <\/span><\/p>\n

Let us live for the new creation and we shall
\ngrow stronger and stronger by remaining young and progressive.<\/span><\/p>\n
