Since we have set aside all conventions,
\nimmediately everybody thinks: \u201cAh! Nice place to satisfy our desires.\u201d And they
\nnearly all come with that intention. <\/span><\/p>\n

And because I built a maternity clinic for
\nthe children of people I was obliged to send away from the Ashram, so that they
\nwould have a place to have their children, people think that the maternity
\nclinic is intended for all illegitimate children.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am not concerned about legality, I am
\nnot concerned about laws or conventions. But what I do want is a more divine
\nlife and not an animal life. <\/span><\/p>\n

And they turn freedom into license, they
\nuse it to satisfy their desires. And all the things that we have truly worked
\nall our lives to master, they indulge in <\/span>―<\/span> a dissipation. I am absolutely disgusted.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

We are here to give up all desires and
\nturn towards the Divine and to become conscious of the Divine. The Divine we
\nseek is not remote and inaccessible. He is at the core of His own creation and
\nwhat He wants us to do is to find Him, and by our personal transformation to
\nbecome capable of knowing Him, of uniting with Him and, in the end, of
\nmanifesting Him consciously. This is what we should consecrate ourselves to,
\nthis is our true reason for existence. And our first step towards this sublime
\nrealisation is the manifestation of the supramental Consciousness. <\/span><\/p>\n

To realise and manifest the Divine in our
\nown lives is the way, not to become animals and live like cats and dogs. <\/span><\/p>\n

Just the opposite! The greater part of the
\npopulation of Auroville<\/span> is a subhumanity<\/span>
\ninstead of a superhumanity. Well, it is time for all that to come to an end. <\/span><\/p>\n

There are people who have come just like
\nthat, and now  <\/span><\/p>\n

when I tell them: \u201cThis won’t do at all,\u201d
\nthey answer: \u201cOh, we didn’t come here for that!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

How I would like to be able to go and tell
\nthem all to their faces that they are mistaken, that things are not like that.
\nBut I think it is time to write it down. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>How pretty it is, a very pretty
\nhumanity! <\/span><\/p>\n

But, Sweet Mother, your force is extremely
\nactive right now. <\/span><\/p>\n

Yes, I know. I know, when I am in this
\nstate I see the Force all the time <\/span>―<\/span> it is not my force, it is the Divine
\nForce. As for myself, I try, I try to be like that. This body tries to be
\nsimply\u2026 simply a transmitter, as transparent as possible, as impersonal as
\npossible. So that the Divine can do what He wants.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yesterday, it was fifty-eight years since
\nI came here for the first time. For fifty-eight years I have been working for that<\/i>, for the body to be as
\ntransparent and as immaterial as possible, in other words, not to be an
\nobstruction to the Force that is coming down. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now, now it is the body, the body itself
\nthat wants it with all its cells. That is the only reason for its existence. To
\ntry, to try to realise on earth a purely transparent, translucid<\/span>
\nelement which would allow the Force to act without distorting it. <\/span><\/p>\n
