Keep quiet and<br \/>\nfearless. Everything will be all right. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>You speak of absolute renunciation, but to<br \/>\ngive up the body is not the absolute renunciation. The true and total<br \/>\nrenunciation is to give up the ego which is a much more arduous <span class=\"SpellE\">endeavour<\/span>. But there is the Grace!\u2026 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Death is not at all what you believe it to be. You expect from death the<br \/>\nneutral quietness of an unconscious rest. But to obtain that rest you must<br \/>\nprepare for it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>When you die you lose only your body and at<br \/>\nthe same time the possibilities of relation with and action on the material<br \/>\nworld. But all that belongs to the vital world does not disappear with the<br \/>\nmaterial substance; all your desires, attachments, cravings persist with the<br \/>\nsense of frustration and disappointment, and all that prevents you from finding<br \/>\nthe expected peace. To enjoy a peaceful and eventless death you must prepare<br \/>\nfor it. And the only effective preparation is the abolition of desires. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>So long as we have a body we have to act,<br \/>\nto work, to do something: but if we do it simply because it has to be done,<br \/>\nwithout seeking for the result or wanting it to be like this or like that, we<br \/>\nget progressively detached and thus prepare ourselves for a restful death. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>If you wish to escape from death, you must<br \/>\nnot bind yourself to anything perishable. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>One can conquer that alone which one fears<br \/>\nnot, and he who fears death has already been vanquished by death. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style='margin:0;text-align:center;line-height:150%'>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span class=\"msoIns\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: none\">Page<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span>&#8211;<span class=\"msoIns\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none\"> 1<\/span><\/span>30<\/span><span class=\"msoIns\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><ins cite=\"mailto:jagat\" datetime=\"2005-07-20T11:40\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:blue'><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><\/ins><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style='text-align:center;line-height:12.0pt'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:\"Courier New\"'><span class=\"msoIns\"><br \/>\n\t<ins cite=\"mailto:jagat\" datetime=\"2005-07-20T11:40\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><\/p>\n<hr size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" noshade align=\"center\">\n<p><\/ins><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>In order to be able to conquer death and win<br \/>\nimmortality, one must neither fear death nor desire it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>The target at which we are aiming is<br \/>\nimmortality. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>And of all the habits, death is surely the<br \/>\nmost obstinate. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>From the viewpoint of spiritual knowledge,<br \/>\ndecrepitude and decay &#8722; disintegration &#8722; are quite simply and<br \/>\nundoubtedly the result of a wrong attitude. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify'><i><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>1. Why are men obliged to leave their<br \/>\nbodies? <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Because they do<br \/>\nnot know how to keep up with Nature in her progress towards the Divine. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><i><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>2. Should one respect the body of a dead<br \/>\nperson? If so, how? <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>One should respect<br \/>\neverything, living and dead, and know that everything lives in the Divine<br \/>\nConsciousness. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>The respect should be felt in the heart<br \/>\nand the inner attitude. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><i><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>3.
