\ncost, we limit our receptivity to the Grace and hamper its workings. Money is
\nonly a medium of exchange, it is all relative and the Divine resources are
\ninexhaustible. Is this attitude a correct one? <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

You are quite
\nright and I approve of your attitude. <\/span><\/p>\n

Never mix in your thought\u00a0 <\/span>spiritual power <\/i>and\u00a0 <\/span>money <\/i>because

\nexperience that the thought, the feeling and the force that is in a gift is

\nA practical problem comes up more and more
\noften: should one who is preparing to do Yoga and has made it a general rule to
\noffer You everything and depend entirely on You, accept gifts, in money or
\nkind, coming from others? Because if he accepts, he is put under personal
\nobligations and duties. Can a sadhak allow this? Can
\nhe say to himself: \u201cThe Divine has many ways of giving\u201d? <\/span><\/p>\n

\nWhat is to be done
\nif a person begins to quarrel because one has accepted a gift in one case and
\nrefused in another? What is to be done to avoid such bitterness around one,
\nprovoked by repeated refusals? <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Divine has
\nmany ways of giving.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

This is the correct thing. One never has any obligation to anybody, one
\nhas an obligation only to the Divine <\/i>and
\nthere totally. When a gift is made without
\nconditions<\/i>, one can always take it as coming from the Divine and leave it
\nto the Divine to take care of what is needed in exchange or response. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>As for ill-will, jealousy, quarrels
\nand reproaches, one must sincerely <\/i>be
\nabove all that and reply with a benevolent smile to the bitterest words; and
\nunless one is absolutely sure of himself and his reactions, it would be better,

\nconsciousness\u201d means an increased, enlarged consciousness, a better organisation<\/span> of it, then as a result there should naturally
\nbe a greater control of outward things (including the \u201ceconomic condition\u201d).
\nBut also, naturally when one has a \u201cbetter consciousness\u201d one is less

\nlearn from Him and follow His way then we can truly deal with such topics and
\nneed not avoid them. Are we correct in our understanding and approach? <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

When we have to answer specific questions
\non such matters as Bank Nationalisation<\/span>, Privy
\nPurses, Press Bill etc., then, unless we have had already direct and specific
\nreplies from Sri Aurobindo<\/span> or You, our answer has
\nbeen that all these actions are only arrangements on the surface and, therefore,
\nby themselves cannot solve the basic problems they try to solve. It is only by
\na change of consciousness or, at least, by the aspiration for the truth and the
\nresultant opening to a change of consciousness that such specific problems can
\nbe really solved. Because whatever is the form of any arrangement or scheme, it
\nhas to be implemented by people. If the people continue to remain in darkness
\nand falsehood, then no arrangement or scheme, however fine it may appear to be,
\ncan succeed. <\/span><\/i> <\/span><\/p>\n

\nhave said for the country that (1) The regional language should be the medium
\nof instruction, (2) Sanskrit should be the national language, (3) English
\nshould be the international language. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
