Everything depends upon the angle from<br \/>\nwhich one looks at the problem. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style='text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Similarly one can say that the Divine is perpetually<br \/>\nbecoming and also that he is immutable for all eternity. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style='text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>To deny and to affirm the existence of God<br \/>\nare both equally true; but each is true only partially. It is by rising above<br \/>\nboth affirmation and negation that one can approach the truth. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style='text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>One can say further that whatever happens<br \/>\nin the world is the result of the divine will and also that this will has to be<br \/>\nexpressed and manifested in a world that contradicts or deforms it. In<br \/>\npractice, these two attitudes lead in the one case to peaceful submission to<br \/>\nwhatever happens, and in the other, on the contrary, to a ceaseless struggle to<br \/>\nbring about the victory of what should be. In other words, a total acceptance with a<br \/>\nperfect indifference and neutrality is the indispensable condition for a<br \/>\nknowledge by integral identity. But till today, he has always had to give up his body without completing<br \/>\nhis work. And it has always been said that the earth was not ready and that men<br \/>\nhad not fulfilled the conditions necessary for the work to be achieved. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style='text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>But it is the imperfection of the<br \/>\nincarnate god that makes the perfection of those around him indispensable. If<br \/>\nthe incarnate god embodied the perfection necessary for the required progress,<br \/>\nthen this progress would not be conditioned by the state of the surrounding<br \/>\nmaterial world. And yet without any doubt, interdependence is absolute in this<br \/>\nworld of extreme objectification; therefore a certain degree of perfection in<br \/>\nthe manifestation as a whole is indispensable for a higher degree of perfection to be <span class=\"SpellE\">realised<\/span> in the incarnate divine being.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\" style='text-align:center;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Page &#8211; 299<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style='text-align:center;line-height:12.0pt'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:10.0pt'><\/p>\n<hr size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" noshade align=\"center\">\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<p style='text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>It is the necessity<br \/>\nof a certain perfection in the environment that compels human beings to progress;<br \/>\nit is the inadequacy of this progress, whatever it may be, that drives the<br \/>\ndivine being to intensify his <span class=\"SpellE\">endeavour<\/span> for progress<br \/>\nin his body. Thus the two movements of progress are simultaneous and complete<br \/>\neach other. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"right\" style='text-align:right;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><i><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>April 1954 <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\" style='text-align:center;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><b><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\" style='text-align:center;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><b><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><a name=\"2\">NEW EXPERIENCES OF THE BODY CONSCIOUSNESS<\/a><\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style='text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style='text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>When one looks back on one\u2019s life, one<br \/>\nalmost always has the feeling that in such and such a circumstance, one could<br \/>\nhave done better, even though at every minute one was acting as dictated by the<br \/>\ninner truth. This is because the universe is perpetually in motion and what was<br \/>\nperfectly true before is only partially true today. Or to speak more exactly,<br \/>\nthe action that was necessary at the moment it was done would no longer be<br \/>\nnecessary now: another action would be more useful in its place. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"right\" style='text-align:right;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><i><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>August 1954 <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style='text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>When we speak of transformation, the word<br \/>\nstill has for us a vague meaning. It gives us the impression that something is<br \/>\ngoing to happen and all will be well as a consequence. The notion reduces<br \/>\nitself almost to this: if we have difficulties, the difficulties will<br \/>\ndisappear; those who are ill will be cured of their illness; if the body is<br \/>\ninfirm and incapable, the infirmities and incapacities will be removed; and so<br \/>\non. But as I have said, it is all very vague, it is only an impression. Now a<br \/>\nremarkable thing about the body consciousness is that it is unable to know a<br \/>\nthing with precision and in full detail except when it is on the point of<br \/>\naccomplishing it.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\" style='text-align:center;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Page &#8211; 300<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style='text-align:center;line-height:12.0pt'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:\"Courier New\"'><\/p>\n<hr size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" noshade align=\"center\">\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<p style='text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>So, when the<br \/>\nprocess of transformation becomes clear, when one is able to know through what<br \/>\nsequence of movements and changes the total transformation will take place &#8722;<br \/>\nin what order, in what way, so to speak: which things will come first, which<br \/>\nthings will follow &#8722; when everything will be known in full detail, that<br \/>\nwill be a sure indication that the hour of <span class=\"SpellE\">realisation<\/span><br \/>\nis near. Because each time you perceive a detail with exactness, it means that<br \/>\nyou are ready to accomplish it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style='text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0'><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>For the moment, one can have a vision of<br \/>\nthe whole. For example, it is entirely certain that under the influence of the <span class=\"SpellE\">supramental<\/span> light, the transformation of the body<br \/>\nconsciousness will take place first; then will follow a progress in the mastery<br \/>\nand control of all the movements and functions of all the organs of the body;<br \/>\nafterwards this mastery will change little by little into a sort of radical<br \/>\nmodification of the movement and then of the constitution of the organs<br \/>\nthemselves. All that is certain, although the perception of it is not precise<br \/>\nenough.
