When they are no longer indulged then they become obstreperous. He cannot expect people to flatter his<br \/>\nfailures or mistakes or indulge his foibles merely because he has the<br \/>\nself-habit of indulging in depression and hurting his nervous envelope if that<br \/>\nis done. To keep himself free from depression is his business, not that of<br \/>\nothers. For instance some people have the habit of getting into depression if<br \/>\nthe Mother does not comply with their desires does not follow that the Mother<br \/>\nmust comply with their desires in order to keep them jolly \u2013 they must learn to<br \/>\nget rid of this habit of mind. So with people&#8217;s wish of encouragement or praise<br \/>\nfor all they do. One can be silent or non-intervening, but if even that<br \/>\ndepresses them, it is their own fault and nobody else&#8217;s. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Of course, it is the same in ordinary life<br \/>\n\u2013 depression is always hurtful.
