Thus, if there is persistent selfishness, it points<br \/>\nto a realisation of universality as your most prominent achievement in the<br \/>\nfuture. And, when selfishness is there, you have also the power to reverse this<br \/>\nvery difficulty into its opposite, a victory of utter wideness. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>When you have something to realise, you will have in you just the<br \/>\ncharacteristic which is the contradiction of that something. Face to face with<br \/>\nthe defect, the difficulty, you say, \u201cOh, I am like that! How awful it is!\u201d But<br \/>\nyou ought to see the truth of the situation. Say to yourself, \u201cMy difficulty<br \/>\nshows me clearly what I have ultimately to represent. To reach the absolute<br \/>\nnegation of it, the quality at the other pole \u2013 this is my mission.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Even in ordinary life, we have sometimes the experience of<br \/>\ncontraries.
