The true attitude is to take<br \/>\nin all simplicity what I give, to be perfectly satisfied with it and neither to<br \/>\nask for more nor to refuse what is given. To be sincere a <span class=\"SpellE\">sannyasi<\/span><br \/>\nmust be perfectly satisfied with what is given to him and ask for nothing more.<br \/>\nIn all that happens to him, he must see the Divine&#8217;s Grace and be at once happy<br \/>\nand grateful for it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Moreover, he who wants<br \/>\nto do \u201cintensive <span class=\"SpellE\">sadhana<\/span>\u201d must be able to isolate<br \/>\nhimself from his surroundings and, if necessary, to sit in deep meditation even<br \/>\non a battlefield in the midst of the roaring guns. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>I do not believe that <span class=\"SpellE\">sadhana<\/span> in the cave is easy <\/span><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Lucida Console\"'>&#8213;<\/span><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'> only<br \/>\nthere the insincerity remains hidden, while in life and action it is revealed.<br \/>\nYou can <i>look <\/i>like a Yogi in a cave,<br \/>\nbut in life the humbugging is more difficult, because you have to <i>behave <\/i>like a Yogi. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"right\" style='margin:0;text-align:right;line-height:150%'><i><span style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0<\/span>6 September 1935 <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><i><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>When I consider the seriousness of this type of severe &nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style='margin:0;text-align:center;line-height:150%'>\n<span style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Page<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style='font-family:\"Lucida Console\"'>&#8213;<\/span><span style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'> 47<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style='text-align:center;line-height:12.0pt'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;color:blue'><\/p>\n<hr size=\"1\" width=\"100%\" noshade align=\"center\">\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span class=\"SpellE\"><i><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Sadhana<\/span><\/i><\/span><i><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>, the ideas of my physical and mental weakness begin to frighten<br \/>\nme and I find little courage in me.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><i><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'>One thing we want to know is how much you are<br \/>\neating and whether you sleep regularly and sufficiently.
