Falsehood is the great

Once falsehood is
\nconquered, all difficulties will go. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In all human beings is
\nnot falsehood always mixed with Truth? <\/span><\/p>\n

There is one Truth but a
\nmillion ways of distorting it in the attempt to express it. <\/span> <\/p>\n

      Hypocrisy and pretension
\nare the homage ignorance pays to the truth. <\/span><\/p>\n

\nare the first signs of the inconscient’s<\/span> aspiration

Simultaneous with the
\nprogress and intensification of the sadhana<\/span>, there is
\nincreasingly felt the imperative need that all hypocrisy and compromise should
\nstop. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This earth is still
\ngoverned by ignorance and falsehood. But the time has come for the
\nmanifestation of Truth. <\/span><\/p>\n

May the Truth be

It is only the Truth
\nthat can save us; truth in words, truth in action, truth in will, truth in

For those who are eager
\nto get rid of falsehood here is the way<\/span><\/p>\n

Do not try to please
\nyourself, do not try either to please others. Try only to please the Lord. <\/span><\/p>\n

Because He alone is the
\nTruth. Each and every one of us, human beings in our physical body, is a coat
\nof falsehood put on the Lord and hiding Him. <\/span><\/p>\n

As He alone is true to
\nHimself, it is on Him that we must concentrate and not on the coats of

Each idea (or system of
\nideas) is true in its own time and place. But if it tries to be exclusive or to

If any element of this
\ntotality is taken separately and affirmed as the sole truth, however central or
\ncomprehensive it may be, it necessarily becomes a falsehood, for then it denies
\nall the rest of the total Truth. This is precisely what constitutes <\/span><\/p>\n

and this is why it
\nis the most dangerous type of falsehood, because each one affirms that it is
\nthe sole and exclusive truth. The absolute, infinite, eternal Truth is
\nunthinkable for the mind which can only conceive that which is spatial and
\ntemporal, fragmentary and limited. Thus, on the mental plane, the absolute
\nTruth is divided into innumerable fragmentary and contradictory truths which
\nstrive in their entirety to reproduce the original Truth as best they can ―<\/span> for each is a truth that attempts to affirm itself as the sole
\ntruth, to the exclusion of all the other truths, which, through their
\ninnumerable totality, express progressively in the becoming the Infinite,
\nEternal and Absolute Truth <\/span>―<\/span> that is how they deny the total Truth. <\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\nThe truth is neither in
\nseparation nor in uniformity. <\/span><\/p>\n

The truth is in unity
\nmanifesting through diversity. <\/span><\/p>\n

Intellectually, the
\nTruth is the point where all the opposites meet and join to make a unity. <\/span> <\/p>\n

Practically, the Truth
\nis the surrender of the ego, to make possible the birth and manifestation of
\nthe Divine. <\/span><\/p>\n

Doubt is the best arm
\nused by the ego to protect itself from extinction. <\/span><\/p>\n

These are remarks on the
\nway which may lead you a little further. <\/span><\/p>\n

They are sent with blessings.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Truth is above mind; it
\nis in silence that one can enter into communication with it. <\/span><\/p>\n

To pray to the Divine
\nand to surrender oneself entirely and in all sincerity to Him are the essential
\npreliminary conditions. <\/span><\/p>\n

He who sincerely wants
\nto serve the Truth will know the Truth. <\/span><\/p>\n

\nOPINION AND TRUTH<\/a><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the Ignorance mental
\nopinions always oppose one another. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the Truth they are
\ncomplementary aspects of a higher knowledge. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All opinions are an aspect
\nof the Truth that can be reached only when you can make a comprehensive whole
\nwith all these aspects. <\/span><\/p>\n

Naturally, all these
\ndiscussions (or exchanges of opinion) are purely mental and have no value from
\nthe viewpoint of the Truth. Each mind has its way of seeing and understanding
\nthings, and even if you could unite and bring together all these ways of
\nseeing, you would still be very far from attaining the Truth. It is only when,
\nin the silence of the mind, you can lift yourself above thought, that you are
\nready to know by identity. <\/span><\/p>\n

From the viewpoint of
\nouter discipline it is indispensable, when you have an opinion and express it,
\nto remember that it is only an opinion, a way of seeing and feeling, and that
\nother people’s opinions, and ways of seeing and feeling are as legitimate as
\nyour own, and that instead of opposing them you should total them up <\/i>and try to find a more comprehensive synthesis. <\/span><\/p>\n

On the whole the
\ndiscussions are always pretty futile and seem to me to be a waste of time. <\/span><\/p>\n

In all opinions there is
\nsomething true and something false. It is indeed a great and useful thing to be
\nable to listen to the opinions of others without losing one’s temper. <\/span><\/p>\n

To know how to listen:
\nto be attentive and silent. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is always better to
\ntell the truth rather than give a pleasant and sweet smile. But what you are
\nsaying is not the truth. It is only an expression of your opinion. <\/span><\/p>\n

To tell the truth is not
\nto utter whatever crosses your mind.<\/span> <\/p>\n
