One of them asked Mother whether she had any objection.) <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>No objection, these are things which you should arrange freely among<br \/>\nyourselves. <span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"right\" style='margin:0;text-align:right;line-height:150%'><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>January 1961 <\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>(Two teachers had a rather heated discussion about the work. One<br \/>\nof them presented the problem to Mother and asked for her opinion. Mother<br \/>\nreplied.) <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Truly speaking, <span>I have no<br \/>\nopinion<\/span>. According to the truth-vision, everything is still terribly<br \/>\nmixed, a more or less fortunate combination of light and darkness, of truth and<br \/>\nfalsehood, of knowledge and ignorance, and so long as decisions are made and<br \/>\naction is carried out according to opinions, it will always be like that. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style='margin:0;text-align:center;line-height:150%'>\n<span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Page \u2013 322<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"center\" style='text-align:center'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\";color:blue'><\/p>\n<hr size=\"2\" width=\"100%\" align=\"center\">\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>We want to give the example of an action that is carried out<br \/>\naccording to the truth-vision, but unfortunately we are still very far from<br \/>\nrealising this ideal; and even if the truth-vision is expressed, it is<br \/>\nimmediately distorted in its implementation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>So, in the present state of things, it is impossible to say: this<br \/>\nis true and this is false, this leads us away from the goal, this leads us<br \/>\nnearer to the goal. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Everything<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'> can be used for the sake of progress; <span>everything<\/span> can be useful if one knows how to use it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>The important thing is never to lose sight of the ideal you want<br \/>\nto realise and to make use of every circumstance for this purpose. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>After all, it is always preferable not to make any decision for or<br \/>\nagainst things, but to watch events as they develop, with the impartiality of a<br \/>\nwitness, relying on the divine Wisdom which will decide for the best and do<br \/>\nwhat is needful. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"right\" style='margin:0;text-align:right;line-height:150%'><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0<\/span>July 1961 <\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>(A teacher had passed on to several colleagues a personal answer<br \/>\nfrom Mother to some questions about the work. Regretting this indiscretion, she<br \/>\nimmediately spoke to Mother about it.) <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>There is no harm in having said what you did, because, you see, to<br \/>\neach person I can say, in all sincerity, that \u201cI agree.\u201d In fact, it is a thing<br \/>\nthat is rather difficult for all of you to understand, since the mind can<br \/>\nhardly approve of it. But behind each one&#8217;s point of view there is an aspect,<br \/>\nsometimes a very small aspect of <span>truth<\/span>,<br \/>\nand I always agree with this aspect \u2013 on condition, of course, that it does not<br \/>\nwant to be exclusive by trying to eliminate the others. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>And I am seeking for a method in action by which all these aspects<br \/>\ncan be expressed, each one in its own place, without interfering with one<br \/>\nanother.
