She says <\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>\u2013 <i>I remind you that she has children aged<br \/>\neight to ten <\/i>\u2013<i> she says: \u201cAs this is<br \/>\nthe age when the mental approach is beginning to appear in several children,<br \/>\nhow can we make use of this mental movement and enrich it without hampering the<br \/>\ninner spontaneity?\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:-.5in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>That depends so much on the case, and the child! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>You see, there is this idea of non-violence about <\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>India<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>, which has replaced material violence by moral violence \u2013 but<br \/>\nthat is far worse! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>You should make them understand this&#8230;.You can say this, explain<br \/>\nto the children that to replace physical violence, material violence, by moral<br \/>\nviolence, is no better. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Lying down in front of a train to prevent it from passing is a<br \/>\nmoral violence which can create more disturbances than physical violence.<br \/>\nYou&#8230;can you hear me? <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>But it depends on the child, it depends on the case. You must not<br \/>\ngive any names, say what this or that person has said. At one time I<br \/>\nencouraged fencing a great deal, and then too, I learned to shoot. I used to<br \/>\nshoot with a pistol, I used to shoot with a rifle because that gives you a<br \/>\nsteadiness and skill and a sure-sightedness that is excellent, and it obliges<br \/>\nyou to stay calm in the midst of danger. I don&#8217;t see why all these things&#8230;One<br \/>\nmust not be hopelessly non-violent \u2013<span>\u00a0<br \/>\n<\/span>that makes characters that are&#8230;soft! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;text-indent:.25in;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><span>\u00a0<\/span>If she sees children&#8230;What<br \/>\nwas it?
