These images can move about (like cinema<br \/>\nimages), but they have no substantial reality. It is the fear or emotion of<br \/>\nthose who see these images that sometimes gives them the appearance of a power<br \/>\nor an action they do not possess in themselves. It is only by yoga that one can do it.<br \/>\nThere have been, throughout the spiritual history of humanity, many methods of<br \/>\nyoga which Sri Aurobindo has described and explained for us in The Synthesis of<br \/>\nYoga. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><font size=\"3\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/span><\/font><br \/>\n<span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>But before eliminating the<br \/>\nwill of the ego, which takes a very long time, one can begin by surrendering the<br \/>\nwill of the ego to the Divine Will at every opportunity and finally in a<br \/>\nconstant way. For this, the first step is to understand that the Divine knows<br \/>\nbetter than we what is good for us and what we truly need, not only for our<br \/>\nspiritual progress but also for our material well-being, the health of our body<br \/>\nand the proper functioning of all the activities of our being. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;text-align:justify;line-height:150%'><font size=\"3\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/span><\/font><br \/>\n<span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Naturally, this is not the<br \/>\nopinion of the ego, which thinks it knows better than anyone else what it<br \/>\nneeds, and claims for itself independence of judgment and decision. Nevertheless, despite these<br \/>\ndivergences, there is a sort of tradition which, behind the different terms, makes<br \/>\nfor an essential analogy.
