\nwritten: \u201cThere is one fundamental perception indispensable towards any
\nintegral knowledge\u2026. It is to realise the Divine in its essential self and
\ntruth\u201d <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

 How can one understand the
\nDivine? <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

By being Him, my child. And that is the only way: by identity.
\nAs Sri Aurobindo says, \u201cWe know the Divine and become the Divine, because we are
\nThat already in our secret nature.\u201d It is because He is the very essence of our
\nbeing that we can become Him and, consequently, understand Him; otherwise it would
\nbe quite impossible. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

How can we find the Divine
\nwithin ourselves? <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Well, it is precisely what I have just said. <\/span><\/p>\n

 What do you mean
\nexactly?… <\/b>By what method? <\/span><\/p>\n

 First of all, you must
\nbegin to seek Him, and then that must be the most important thing in life. The
\nwill must be constant, the aspiration constant, the preoccupation constant, and
\nit must be the only thing you truly want. Then you will find Him.<\/span><\/p>\n

 But of course, if in
\none\u2019s life one thinks of Him for five minutes and is busy with other things for
\nthree-quarters of an hour, there is not much chance of success. Anyway, it will
\ntake many lifetimes. <\/span><\/p>\n

 It must not be a pastime.
\nIt must be the exclusive preoccupation of one\u2019s being, the very reason of one\u2019s
\nexistence. <\/span><\/p>\n
