I am like that babe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\">2<i>.<\/i><span>\u00a0 <\/span>If the man whom she loves subject her to<br \/>\ncontumely, the high-born wife still clings to him; for he is her chosen lord.<br \/>\nAnd I, too, 0 Lord of the City of the wise whose walls reach up to Heaven, I<br \/>\nwill ever praise thy victorious feet, even if thou shouldst leave me<br \/>\nunprotected.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\">3.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Reject me, 0 Lord, and I<br \/>\nwill yet hold on to thee, not knowing another prop. 0 Lord of the City of the<br \/>\nwise encircled by green fields with their glancing fish, the rightful king may<br \/>\ncause much pain to his country&#8217;s heart, not looking at things with his own<br \/>\neyes, but still the country trusts in him. I am like that country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\">4. <span>\u00a0 <\/span>The sufferer loves the<br \/>\nwise physician even when his flesh is cut and burnt. 0 Lord of the City of the<br \/>\nwise, let thy Illusion inflict on me an end-less pain, I will yet remain thy<br \/>\nservant, I will yet look up to thy feet.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\">5.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>0 Lord of the City of the wise, who didst slay the strong and cruel<br \/>\nBeast, ah, where shall I fly for refuge, if I leave thy feet? On the tossing<br \/>\nsea the bird leaves the mast of the ship, he flies to all sides but no shore is<br \/>\nvisible, and he again returns to the mast. I am like that bird.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style='margin:0;line-height:150%'><span lang=\"EN-US\">6.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Let Fire himself assail with its heat the lotus-flower, it will<br \/>\nblossom to none but the Sun.
