(A note from Mother)<\/i><\/p>\n

Human consciousness is so corrupt that people<\/p>\n

 prefer the
\n misery and ignorance of the ego to the<\/p>\n

 luminous joy that comes from sincere surrender<\/p>\n

 to the Divine. Their blindness is so great that they<\/p>\n

 refuse even to attempt the experience and prefer<\/p>\n

 to be subjected to the misery of their ego rather<\/p>\n

 than make the necessary effort to free themselves<\/p>\n

 from it.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Their blindness is so total that they would not<\/p>\n

 hesitate to
\n make the Divine a slave to their ego, if<\/p>\n

 such a thing were possible, just to avoid giving<\/p>\n

 themselves to the Divine.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
