\nOF OUR JOURNEY <\/font><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\n[The Rishi hymns the Divine Force that knows all the successive births of the soul on its ascending planes of existence
\nand as priest of his upward and onward-journeying sacrifice gives
\nhim the purity, the power, the knowledge, the increasing riches,
\nthe faculty of new formation and spiritual productiveness by
\nwhich the mortal grows into immortality. It destroys the enemy,
\nthe assailants, the powers of evil, enriches the soul with all they
\ntry to withhold, gives the triple peace and the triple fulfilment of
\nthe mental, vital and physical being and, labouring in the light of
\nthe supramental Truth, leads beyond, creating in us the world of
\nimmortal felicity.]<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

    \n\tStrength, master over the lords of substance, towards thee I
    \ndirect my delight in the march of my sacrifices. O King, by
    \nthee, increasing thy plenitudes, may we conquer our plenty
    \nand overcome the embattled assaults of mortal powers.<\/font>
    \n\t<\/font><\/li>\n

  2. \n

    \n\tStrength unaging that bears the oblation is the Father of us,
    \nhe in us pervades in being and is extended in light and is
    \nperfect in vision. Kindle altogether thy strengths of impulsion that belong perfectly to the Master in our dwelling,<\/font>\u00b9<\/font>
    \nform altogether thy inspirations of knowledge and turn them
    \ntowards us.<\/font> <\/font><\/li>\n

  3. \n

    \n\tWill that is the Seer and Lord of the creature in the human
    \npeoples, that is pure and purifies, with his surface of the
    \nmind’s clarities. Will omniscient hold in you as the priest of
    \nyour oblations, for this is he that wins for you your desirable
    \nboons in the godheads.<\/font> <\/font><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \n\u00b9<\/font>Agni is here the supreme Will dwelling in us. Father and Lord of our being; he is to act
    \nin us entirely by the divine will and knowledge. <\/font><\/p>\n

      \n\t4. Becoming of one heart with the goddess of Truth-vision,<\/font>\u00b9<\/font>
      \nlabouring by the rays of the Sun of Light, cleave to us with
      \nlove, O Strength: accept in heart thy fuel in us, O Knower of
      \nthe Births, and bring to us the gods that they may eat of our
      \noffering.<\/font> <\/font><\/li>\n

    2. \n

      \n\tDomiciled in our gated dwelling, the Guest loved and accepted, come to this our sacrifice in all thy knowledge; all these
      \nenergies slay that set themselves to attack us and bring to us
      \ntheir enjoyments who make themselves our enemies.<\/font>\u00b2 <\/font><\/li>\n

    3. \n

      \n\tChase from us with thy blow the Divider, make a free space
      \nfor thine own body! When, O Son of Force, thou art carrying the gods over to their goal,<\/font>\u00b3<\/font> protect us in the plenitude
      \nof our possession, O Strength, O mightiest Deity.<\/font>
      \n\t<\/font><\/li>\n

    4. \n

      \n\tMay we order aright for thee our sacrifice by our words
      \nand by our offerings, O Will that purifiest, O happy flame of
      \npurity; in us pervade a felicity of all desirable boons, in us
      \nconfirm all substance of our riches.<\/font> <\/font>\n\t<\/li>\n

    5. \n

      \n\tO<\/font> Will,
      \n\tO Son of Force who dwellest in the three worlds<\/font>4<\/font><\/sup>
      \n\tof our session, cleave in heart to our sacrifice, cleave to our oblation.
      \n\tMay we become perfect in our works in the godheads; protect us by thy peace
      \n\ttriple-armoured.<\/font>5<\/font><\/sup>
      \n\t<\/font><\/li>\n

    6. \n

      \n\tO Knower of the Births, bear us over every difficult crossing,
      \nyea, over all stumblings into evil as in a ship that travels
      \nover the waters. O Will, expressed by us with our obeisance
      \nof submission as the Eater of things, awake in us, be the<\/font>
      \n\t<\/font><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \n\u00b9<\/font>Ila. <\/font><\/p>\n

      \n\t\u00b2<\/font>All hostile energies that attack the soul of man possess certain riches which he needs
      \nand has to wrest from them in order to arrive at his perfect plenitude. <\/font><\/p>\n

      \n\t\u00b3<\/font>The divine powers in us are carried to their goal in the Truth and Bliss by the force of the.
      \nDivine Will working in man. <\/font><\/p>\n

      \n4<\/sup>Mental, vital, physical, the lower "births" all the knowledge of which the Divine Will,
      \nknower of our Births, possesses and through .which it has to lead the ascending sacrifice to the supramental. <\/font><\/p>\n

      \n5<\/sup>The peace, joy and full satisfaction in the mental, vital and physical being. <\/font><\/p>\n

      \nfosterer of our embodyings.\u00b9<\/font><\/p>\n

      1. \n

        \n\tI meditate on thee with a heart that does the Work and,
        \nmortal, I call to the Immortal. O Will, O Knower of the
        \nBirths, confirm victory in us; by the children of my works
        \nmay I enjoy immortality.<\/font> <\/font><\/li>\n

      2. \n

        \n\tO Knower of the Births, the man perfect in his works for
        \nwhom thou Greatest that other blissful world,\u00b2 reaches a
        \nfelicity that is peopled happily with his life’s swiftnesses,
        \nhis herds of Light, the children of his soul, the armies of
        \nhis energy.\u00b3<\/font><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \n\u00b9<\/font>Not only the physical body, but the vital and mental sheaths, all the embodied states
        \nor forms of the soul. <\/font><\/p>\n

        \n\u00b2<\/font>The supramental world has to be formed or created in us by the Divine Will as the
        \nresult of a constant expansion and self-perfecting. <\/font><\/p>\n

        \n\u00b3<\/font>The constant Vedic symbols of the Horse, Cow; Son, Hero. The sons or children are
        \nthe new soul-formations which constitute the divine Personality, the new births within us.
        \nThe heroes are the mental and moral energies which resist the assaults of ignorance, division,
        \nevil and falsehood. The vital powers are the motive forces that bear us on our journey and are
        \ntherefore symbolised by the Horse. The herds are the illuminations that come to us from the
        \nsupramental Truth, herding rays of the sun of Light. <\/font><\/p>\n
