\n[The Rishi prays for the full epiphany of
\nthe Dawn of the light of Truth in all its lavish splendour, with all the
\nbountiful companies of its gods and seers, the shining herds of its thought, the
\nrushing steeds of its force, the luminous impulsions with which it comes \u2014
\ncompanioned, as they are, by the burning rays of the Sun of gnosis. Let the Dawn
\narrive and the work will no longer be long and tardy.]<\/font> <\/font> <\/p>\n

\n1. O Dawn, come with all thy splendours of
\nheaven, awaken us today to the great felicity, even as once thou awakenedst us,
\n\u2014 in the sonhood of the birth of knowledge, in the inspired hearing of the
\nTruth.<\/font>\u00b9
\n\t<\/font><\/p>\n

\nO, thy birth is complete! <\/b>O, truth is
\nin the tramp of thy steeds!<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\n2. Thou who breakest forth into dawning, O
\ndaughter of heaven, in him who has the perfect leading of the flaming chariot of
\nlight,<\/font>\u00b2<\/font>
\nso break forth today, \u2014 O greater still in thy force, in the sonhood of the
\nbirth of knowledge, in the inspired hearing of the Truth.<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\nname of the Rishi is here a covert figure for the characteristics of the
\nSun-birth in man. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n3. Break forth into light a bearer of
\ntreasures, O daughter of heaven, as once thou brokest forth, \u2014 O greater still
\nin thy force, in the sonhood of the birth of knowledge, in the inspired hearing

\n4. There are bearers of the sacrifice<\/font>\u00b9<\/font>
\nwho bring thee out in their speech, by their hymns they manifest thee, O wide
\nand lustrous Dawn; they are glorious with thy plenty, O queen, their gifts are
\nlavish, their boons are full.
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

\n5. When these companies of thy godheads seek
\nto pleasure thee in hope of thy plenitudes, they set their desires all around,
\nthey lavish thy undeviating felicity.

\n6. These are thy seers; O Dawn, queen of
\nplenty, set in them the splendour of thy heroic powers; lords of thy plenty,
\nthey shall lavish on us thy undeviating riches. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nis in the tramp of thy steeds!<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\nhuman priests, but divine powers, the hosts or companies of the Dawn, "ganah",
\n<\/i>at once priests, seers and patrons of the inner sacrifice, winners and
\ngivers of the celestial wealth. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n7. O Dawn, our lady of plenty, bring to them
\nthy illumination, a vast glory; they shall give us enjoyment of the felicity of
\nthy steeds and the felicity of thy herds. <\/font><\/p>\n

\ntramp of thy steeds!<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n8. Bring to us too, O daughter of heaven,
\npowers of impulse full of the troopings of thy light; let them come companioned
\nwith the rays of thy Sun, linked with the purity of his bright and burning
\nlight-givings.<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\nO, thy birth is complete! <\/b> O, truth
\nis in the tramp of thy steeds!<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\n9. Break forth into light, O daughter of
\nheaven! And spin not out too long the work. For thee thy sun afflicts not with
\nhis burning ray as he afflicts the foe and the thief.<\/font>\u00b9<\/font>

\n10. So much thou shouldst give or more than
\nthis; for to thy adorers thou breakest forth into the full wideness of thy
\nglories and thou art not limited in thy dawning. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n\u00b9<\/font>The
\nlabour towards the being of the Truth is long and tedious, because the powers
\n<\/b>of darkness and division, the lower powers of our being, seize on and
\nappropriate, keep idle or misuse the gains of the knowledge. They are not
\nbearers of the sacrifice, but its spoilers; they are hurt by the full ray of the
\nsun. But this Dawn of knowledge can bear the full illumination and bring to a
\nrapid conclusion the great work. <\/font><\/p>\n

\nof Heaven, as the bringer of the Truth, the bliss, the heavens of light, creator
\nof the Light, giver of vision, maker, follower, leader of the paths of Truth,
\nremover of the darkness, the eternal and ever youthful goddess of our godward
\njourneying.]<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\n \n<\/p>\n

\n1. Dawn of the luminous journey. Dawn queen
\nof truth, large with the Truth, how wide is the gleam from her rosy limbs, \u2014Dawn
\ndivine who brings with her the heaven of light! Her the seers adore with their
\nthoughts.<\/font>
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

\n \n<\/p>\n

\n2. This is she who has the vision and she
\nawakens man and makes his paths easy to travel and walks in his front. How large
\nis her chariot, how vast and all-pervading the goddess, how she brings Light in
\nthe front of the days!<\/font>
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

\n \n<\/p>\n

\n3. This is she who yokes her cows of rosy
\nlight; her journey does not fail and such is the treasure she makes that it
\npasses not away. She hews out our paths to happiness; divine is she, far-shining
\nher glory, many the hymns that rise to her, she brings with her every boon.<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\n4. Behold her in her biune energy of earth
\nand heaven, how she comes into being in her whiteness and discloses her body in
\nour front. She follows perfectly the paths of Truth, as one who is wise and
\nknows, and she hedges not in our regions.<\/font>
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

\n \n<\/p>\n

\n5. Lo, how brilliant is her body when she is
\nfound and known! How she stands on high as if bathing in light that we may have
\nvision! Driving away all enemies and all darknesses Dawn, the daughter of
\nHeaven, has come with the Light.<\/font>

\n \n<\/p>\n

\n6. Lo, the daughter of Heaven like a woman
\nfull of happiness moves to meet the gods and her form travels ever nearer to
\nthem. Unveiling all blessings for the giver of sacrifice the goddess young for
\never has created the Light once more even as in the beginning.<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n
