\nBIBLIOGRAPHICAL NOTE <\/font><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Letters of Sri
\nAurobindo <\/i>was first compiled and published in four series from 1947 to 1951.
\nSeries First, Second and Fourth contained letters on yoga and the Third Series
\ncontained letters on Poetry and Literature. Prior to that small selections of
\nleisters were published in The Riddle of This World <\/i>(1933), Lights on
\nYoga <\/i>(1935), Bases of Yoga <\/i>(1936) and More Lights on Yoga <\/i>
\n(1948). Some letters were also published periodically in the Ashram Journals:
\nSri Aurobindo Circle, Sri Aurobindo Mandir, The Advent <\/i>and Mother India.
\n<\/i><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\nSeries First and Second of Letters of Sri Aurobindo <\/i>were reissued in 1950
\nand 1954 respectively. <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nIn 1958 all the above letters, excepting those on Poetry and Literature in the
\nThird Series, were published again with additional material as Volumes VI and
\nVII of the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education Series in two Tomes.
\nTome One was reissued in 1969 with further additions. <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\nThe present volumes, 22, 23 and 24 of the SRI <\/font>AUROBINDO
\n<\/font>BIRTH <\/font>CENTENARY <\/font>LIBRARY<\/font>,
